Raha EncloSpring System
Each spring is enclosed in its own pocket, allowing for more even distribution of body weight and better cradling of body contours. The pocketed units are barrel shaped with 6.4cm outside diameter, 4.5cm top and bottom, 17.8 cm free height with 5.5 convolutions, wire ends inwards. Individual pockets of corovin, nested and centre tied with 17.5 cm x 15 gauge steel wire, fitted with 17 guage flat border wire, shaped to the mattress size one joint seam.

Raha BounceBack Spring System
This system consists of Bonnel springs custom manufactured to our stringent specifications. Made from superior 2.2/2.4 mm high tensile carbon steel wire, they are executed in five turns, to a diameter of not more than 86 mm and height of 130mm. They are connected to 1.4 mm helicals, at right angles to the long axis of the unit with a twin-tie knot. The helical ends are mechanically crushed at each termination point to prevent spin out. All wires and coils are made of high carbon steel spring wire.

Each individual spring is automatically heat tempered after which the entire unit is heat treated. This gives the helical 19% extra strength, and eliminates sagging of the springs and possible frame breakdown.

It also ensures flexibility throughout the life of the mattress.

Raha Bases: Support from the foudation up
The foundation frame is constructed from high grade white wood(kiln dried with a moisture content <17%) and medium density fibreboards 18mm thick. The frame is flat and square with all corners radiused to match the corner radii of the mattress. All wood has a minimum thickness of 25mm, securely stapled and glued for diagonal rigidity. Cross slats are used for reinforcement of the frame, while longitudinal slats are an exclusive option for Raha Queen beds. We offer a choice of Hard Top and Sprung Top bases.
