Poly Products LLC headquartered in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, is the leading manufacturer of world class RAHA brand of mattresses, bases and headboards, bedding systems, polyurethane foam and moulded foam, polyester fibre, soft furnishings and sofas.
Two decades later …….
Today it is a dream realized. The shed has blossomed into a world class mattress manufacturing complex sprawling across 55,000 sq. mtrs. in the Rusayl Industrial Estate. The people are now a close-knit family of 550. Poly Products has grown into a multi-million dollar global enterprise. And Raha enjoys a brand equity that is truly international with customers spanning the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and Europe.
On 3rd October 1999, Poly Products, the premier mattress manufacturer in the Middle East and Simmons, the US based company which is one of the top-ranking companies in the world in bedding, came together to form a partnership in helping people sleep better. Simmons, founded in 1870 by Zalmon Simmons, has been demonstrating its commitment to the bedding industry through its innovative technology in mattress manufacturing and aggressive sales and marketing campaigns for more than a century. Its world wide sales for 1999 was around 1.2 billion US Dollars. In October 1999, after the signing of agreement between Poly Products and Simmons, in an interview with one of the leading newspapers in Oman, The Oman Daily Observer, the then Vice President (International) of Simmons Mr. John Peterken, had said that for Simmons, it had been a five year search for quality that had ended in their identifying Poly Products as the sole licensee for manufacturing the Simmons range of mattresses in the Middle East. It was undoubtedly an honour and recognition for Poly Products, with an impressive manufacturing facility creating top quality mattresses meeting international standards.
